"Silver Thatch Palm"
Natural Habitat: Southeastern coast of the Florida, and the Costal open forest of the Bahamas.
Description: A slender solitary palm. The trunk is covered in thin fibers as it nears the crown shaft, which is covered with thinker fibers. The crownshaft releases a sparse crown of deeply divided leaves with thin drooping segments. The leaves are a dark green on top and a silvery grey on the bottom
Enviroment: This palm enjoys a sunny area where it can get watered regularly. It can also take rigors of a costal environment. It is cold hardy to the mid 30’s and can take light frost and freezes with proper care and protection. Zones 10-11
