Habitat: Southeastern coast of the Florida Florida, and the Costal open forest of the Bahamas.
Description: A slender solitary palm. The trunk is covered in thin fibers as it nears the crown shaft, which is covered with thinker fibers. The crownshaft releases a sparse crown of deeply divided leaves with thin drooping segments. The leaves are a dark green on top and a silvery grey on the bottom
Enviroment: This palm can take plenty of sun. It enjoys a moist and well draining soil. It can also take rigors of a costal environment
